CONGRATULATIONS JANIVA!

WOW STREET TEAM 2009 has been a great year... Contemporary Blues Female Artist of the Year, and B.B. King Entertainer of the Year, presented by the Man himself...Mr. B.B. King. It just so happened that Bonnie Raitt was in the area and was on stage with him to present the award. Our hearts were pumping and we were moved to tears when her name was called. Janiva was nominated for this award last year and she is only the second woman to ever be nominated and win in the history of the B.B. King Entertainer of the Year Award. KoKo Taylor is the only other female to receive this honor.

And she's not done yet folks! The 2010 Blues Music Awards have been announced and Janiva has been nominated again for Contemporary Blues Female Artist of the Year!
